StellarMAPi is a browser-based option for viewing the data and graphics of StellarMAP. It allows an unlimited number of users access to quick search to a map location, view graphics, property records, cable/terminal counts and more. Both subscriber and outside plant data is readily available to all users who have access to Internet Explorer. A free browser plug-in will be installed the first time a client attempts to access the site to view AutoCAD drawing files in .dwf format.
StellarMAP’s non-graphical data is presented real-time, so users always see the most recent edits. The method used for this connection allows web clients to view the most current StellarMAP data without making a direct connection to the database.
Any computer with a web browser and logon credentials can view the pages published by StellarMAPi. See diagram Exhibit A below, shows how StellarMAPi enables your data to be distributed to internal users, remote offices and via wireless connections. |
