StellarEMI is designed for the high speed import and reformatting of toll records.  Processing can be automatically scheduled through StellarPLUS’ Bill Manager.

A unique diagram approach is used to allow complex reformatting logic to be easily visualized and manipulated.  This allows non-programmers to configure and maintain the application when changes in formats are required.

• Convert AMA, fixed length, or comma separated value files to any user defined fixed length output type.
• Create multiple output files from a single input source.  For example, one AMA record creates a billing, cabs, and meet-point record.
• Create unlimited output files.
• Create your own diagrams (flowcharts) to process your data, applying your own business rules.
• Automatically reject records that don’t fit your business or industry standard rules. 
• Review, edit, and reprocess rejected error records.
• Use industry standard tables (i.e., TPMaster) for data lookup/comparison.
• Link your own lookup tables and use them in your file processing.
• Display the value of any field or fields while a file is being processed using the debug feature.

StellarEMI is fast.  It has been benchmarked processing almost 15 million records per hour on modest hardware (see below for specs).  Over 11 million records can be processed per hour even when the reformatting requires a look-up to an external table such as the TPM. 

Testing was conducted on a dual 2.20 GHz HT processor server with 2 GB of memory, RAID 1/0 with 15k, U320 disks with an U320 controller.  EMI records were checked to be valid billing records.  They were reformatted (CIC and route source fields modified) for billing if valid or sent to an error file if not.  The external table lookup tests additional four additional fields that were modified based on a look-up to the TPM file.
