StellarRAD Systems Expands OSS Offerings for UNE-P based CLECs

StellarRAD Systems announces the expansion of its service bureau operation to include cost effective CABS and Subscriber billing for UNE-P based CLECs.
Two implementation options are available for customer care and billing depending upon the size and requirements of the provider:
- Browser-based customer care and billing
- Client/server applications
With either option, StellarRAD provides the IT and system administration functions so the CLEC is not distracted from their primary focus - building a customer base.
With the browser-based system, the CLEC need only provide PCs and an Internet connection. StellarRAD provides and manages all server hardware and software at their Missouri headquarters. For client/server based customers, StellarRAD locates server(s) at the client's location and manages these servers remotely.
With either option, StellarRAD manages all hardware and software administration so the client may keep their labor costs lower and concentrate on day-to-day operations.
The service is priced attractively, with pricing options to meet the needs of small startup providers.
StellarRAD uses its own customer care and billing software for the service bureau. The StellarRAD software can be purchased for in-house use. In another cost friendly initiative, StellarRAD allows a portion of service bureau fees to be applied toward a future license purchase of StellarRAD software.
StellarRAD is one of the most experienced customer care and billing providers in the business. StellarRAD has been in the telephony software business since 1982 and has provided service bureau billing to LECs and CLECs since 1997.
Although StellarRAD began by serving the LEC marketplace, the company has a diverse CLEC customer base. Clients include LECs, UNE-P providers, pre-paid companies, overbuild CLECs, municipal CLECs, and CLECs run by LECs.
